ALERT...ALERT..ALERT
It has come to the attention of AHQ that attesting scores may cause some problems, so they are asking the members not to attest scores.
Should the USGA Handicap System require attesting of scores in the future, the program will be fixed.
Any questions contact Sue Stager at: handicap@stroudsburgewga.com
HANDICAPS
When the golf season is officially started the handicap systems (GLMS, GHIN, Handi Net, etc.) are open for posting. If you played down south or out west during the winter you should post those scores.
You should have only one “handicap index” and it should consist of all your scores from all the different golf courses you play at.
You index is continuous from one year to the next and does not start over each year.
If you change the system where you keep you index (GLMS to GHIN or vice versa) you need to input your last 20 scores so your handicap index is up to date.
If you change clubs and they both use the GHIN systems, then you submit your GHIN # to the new club and scores will be moved over by the system.
Any questions about your handicap index should be submitted to Sue Stager.
